We use a CloudFormation template to create a read-only IAM role in your account. This is the standard, secure way to grant auditor access in AWS — it takes about 2 minutes.

Download the CloudFormation template

Open AWS CloudFormation in your account
Use the link below. Make sure you're logged in to the account you entered on the previous screen ().
Create a new stack
Click Create stack → Upload a template file → upload the file you downloaded → click Next.
Leave all parameters as-is and submit
The TrustedAccountId, RoleName, and ExternalId fields are pre-filled — do not change them. Click Next → Next → Submit.
Wait for CREATE_COMPLETE
Takes 30–60 seconds. Once the stack shows CREATE_COMPLETE, come back here and click the button below.
